TERMS OF SERVICE

Yaaal Dance Studio LLC Effective Date: 02/16/2026

Welcome to Yaaal Dance Studio LLC (“Studio,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, enrollment in classes, participation in programs, performances, workshops, competitions, and related services.

By enrolling, participating, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Yaaal Dance Studio LLC provides:

    • Bollywood dance instruction for children and adults
    • Workshops and rehearsals
    • Cultural performances and community events
    • Competition participation programs

All services are subject to availability and compliance with these Terms.

2. Enrollment & Acceptance

    • Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian accept these Terms.
    • Enrollment is confirmed only upon submission of required forms and payment.
    • By enrolling a minor, the parent/guardian represents that they have legal authority to consent.
    • The Studio reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate enrollment at its discretion.

3. Tuition, Fees & Payment Policy

  • Tuition is due in advance per session, term, or monthly schedule.
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • Missed classes are not refundable.
  • Makeup classes are offered at the Studio’s discretion.
  • Additional fees may apply for performance costumes, competition fees, workshops, and special events.
  • We reserve the right to suspend participation for unpaid balances

4. Cancellation & Withdrawal

  • Written notice is required for withdrawal.
  • No refunds for partial sessions or unused classes.
  • The Studio may cancel classes due to low enrollment, instructor illness, facility issues, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, credit or rescheduling may be offered.

5. Events & Competitions

Participation in external events, competitions, and annual showcases may require:

  • Additional fees
  • Costume purchases
  • Travel arrangements
  • Event-specific waivers

The Studio reserves the right to issue separate Event Participation Agreements when required.

6. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability (California Compliant)

Participation in dance and physical activity involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

    • Muscle strain
    • Sprains
    • Falls
    • Physical injury

Emotional stress associated with performance

By enrolling, participants (or parents/guardians of minors):

  • Voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
  • Release, waive, and discharge Yaaal Dance Studio LLC, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates from all claims arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct as prohibited under California law.
  • Agree that this release applies to all classes, rehearsals, performances, workshops, competitions, and events.
  • This release is binding under California Civil Code provisions governing liability waivers.

7. Minor Participation & Parental Consent

For participants under 18:

  • A parent/legal guardian must complete all enrollment documents.
  • Parents acknowledge responsibility for transportation and timely pickup.
  • ‘Parents’ consent to participate in physical activity programs.
  • The Studio is not responsible for minors outside scheduled class times.

8. Medical Authorization

In case of emergency:

  • The Studio may seek medical care if a parent/guardian cannot be reached.
  • The Studio is not responsible for medical costs incurred.
  • Participants should maintain personal health insurance coverage.

9. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under California law, participants (and parents/guardians of minors) release and hold harmless Yaaal Dance Studio LLC and its representatives from claims arising out of participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Conduct & Behavior

Participants must:

  • Show respect toward instructors and fellow students
  • Follow instructor guidance
  • Maintain respectful behavior
  • Adhere to dress and safety requirements
  • Refrain from disruptive or unsafe behavior.

The Studio reserves the right to dismiss any participant for misconduct without refund

11. Media & Promotional Use

Unless written opt-out is submitted, participants (or parents/guardians) grant permission for photos and videos to be used for marketing and promotional purposes.

  • Photograph and record video
  • Use images and recordings for promotional and marketing purposes

Media may appear on:

  • Studio website
  • Social media platforms
  • Printed materials
  • Digital advertising

Revocation of consent applies only to future use and does not require the removal of previously published content.

12. Privacy Policy & Data Protection (COPPA Awareness)

We collect personal information solely for enrollment, communication, billing, and operational purposes. We do not sell personal data.

For minors, information is collected from parents/guardians in compliance with applicable laws.

  • Information is collected from parents/guardians.
  • Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect data.
  • Parents may request review or correction of their child’s information.

13. Intellectual Property

All choreography, music edits, and instructional content remain the property of Yaaal Dance Studio LLC and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

15. Website Use Terms

Users agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Copy content without permission
  • Engage in unlawful or harmful activities on the site
  • We reserve the right to modify website content at any time.

16. Force Majeure

The Studio shall not be liable for interruptions in services due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, public health emergencies, or government restrictions.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

18. Release & Waiver of Claims

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Yaaal Dance Studio LLC, its owners, instructors, staff, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to the use of my child’s photographs or videos, including claims for invasion of privacy, publicity rights, or defamation.

20. Acknowledgment & Acceptance

  • Agree to be bound by this Agreement
